by Mindy is the innovation of Mindy Byrne.  The inspiration grew out of a busy mother’s desire for a productive and fun creative outlet!

Each distinctive design is intended to reflect casual elegance and to compliment any outfit by adding that special unique touch.

Mindy grew up outside Philadelphia in Downingtown, Pennsylvania.  She went to college at the University of Richmond, and graduate school at Boston College.  She worked as a therapist for hospitalized adolescents before leaving the workforce in 2001 to raise her children.  Mindy lives in Glen Allen, Virginia with her husband, their three children, and Daisy, their Goldendoodle. 
Mindy’s gemstone jewelry designs began as a hobby.  After her necklaces proved popular at home shows in Virginia, Mindy launched the Neckgems.com website in 2008.
